Of Spiders from Hell and sweet Skeletons...

Jekka's letter was rather..... strange this past week. I don't know where she went or what she did, but she was going on about some sort of skeletons that were passing out roses and spiders, whose webs would send you to Hell... I was a little confused. Maybe next time she can elaborate?

"It's funny what the Japanese consider scary."

One thing she didn't mention was mummies....

Those are some scary mummies. It looks like some zombie mummies got ahold of some missionaries and ate their brains, turning them into bike riding missionary mummies as well... Upon closer look though, they seem to just want to tell you about Jesus Christ and his Gospel. Such nice mummies.

Did you know Jekka could play sports?!?!

Amazing! Jekka San went with her District to go bowling and play volleyball one night! Craziness! I didn't know she knew how to play sports. These minions just keep popping up with new things don't they?

This is her playing volley ball at the nearby ward building with the ward she is in. They had an investigator there that they taught as well.

Then sometime after they went to go bowling. Looks like they mean business....

Real business. . . .
She wrote on the back of this picture stating "This is how missionaries foil Satan's plans!". You go girl! Lol. With these minions around, I would wonder why Satan wouldn't run in the first place....

Moar Pictures!

Jekka and her companion were teaching a family at one point and time and they decided to dress up. Yes, Jessica, dress up, amusing I know. Either way, here's some pictures of the families they have been teaching and other things they have been doing. :)

This is a family to which Jekka and her companion are teaching the discussions to her husband. :) Go Jekka! Spread that gospel.

Pray for the missionaries!

This is a bookmark Jekka made from pressing cherry blossom flowers.

No way! A post!!

So I know that as the "responsible" minion, I have slacked off in my duties posting to Jekka's blog...Gomen!!! I have received many letters with pictures and for the next few months have plans to upload them! Yay! So I have pictures!

Both Jekka and Christopherson had sent me these pictures during the late spring. In Japan, when all of the Cherry Blossoms (Sakura trees) go into bloom, it is a time where all the Japanese go and take pictures of all beautiful blossoms.

From a distance they look pink like Cherries, but upon closer look....

They're actually white! Christopher said they look like snow when the pedals are fallen on the cars and ground. Jekka and Chris took lots of pictures of these, but I picked only a few that looked really neat to post.

They are so pretty!!! And is it me or does Christopher look different? Where's that shaggy hair?! Craziness.

They have both been writing in so much Japanese that I had to go get a translator and a Kana/gana chart!! Well until next time! Enjoy the Sakura's!

I got a letter!!!

*dances* I gotta letter I gotta letter I gotta letter hey hey hey hey! -name that mooovie!!- <3

So I got a cute little letter from Jekka!! And some cute little pictures as you can see from above. Those pictures are actually about 1/2 of an inch big! Crazy huh? So cute though! She sends her love and says that Japan is great! It was slow at first but Kawano Shimai and her are starting to find more people! The apartments are small, but cozy. They don't have an oven, (*gasp*) but thank goodness they have a toaster oven! Wow, no oven.... I'd go crazy! I love to cook... She says that Futons are comfortable and so easy to store! Silly Jekka. She says that the picures are called Purikuri. It's like those little photo booths that they have here in america except much cooler and a little more expensive, but worth it! (400¥ = $4.00) You can draw on them as you can see from above. She leaves a note to all her minions: Be good and drink lots of water, she loves us and we're "so pimp" which is her new word... Apparently it's her companion's favorite word. That and freaking. lol Cutie.

ok so letters... it figures that I get a letter just as I sent one out yesterday inquiring where my letters are from her. Anyone else heard from the loverly Jekka? Anyways, the addresses I have are correct and all you need to do is write out the address on the letter as such. The only requirement is to please do not write in all captial letters. They prefer lowercase. I sent both Chris and Jekka a letter and it cost me less than $2.00 at the post office! So it's real cheap. I was expecting at least $5. >.< Welps... I'm going to head out I just wanted to post really quick. Check out the awesome business card! That's so nifty. It has her home address on the left but I cut it out. Also, no calling her unless you want a full discussion on the gospel. Besides, I don't know if it would work anyway. ^_^ So cool! I love the little symbols, japanese has pretty pictures.
