Yo Ho Yo Ho, A Pirate's Life for Me!

Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End was. . .awesome!! I want to see it again, already, and daydream about being a pirate. Especially the Pirate Queen. How cool is that?! Alas, I must give a moment of silence for our dear Kraken friend. . .may he always find ships in the afterlife to destory *sniff*. You could say that was the one thing I was disappointed about, losing our kraken friend, but I guess the CG animators didn't want to deal with our tentically (however that's spelled) friend. At least. . .Tia Dalma was cool. . . :D

Well, I'm not much of a writer of long-winded events or trying to fill up space with unnecessary chatter, so I will return to Screwtape and Wormwood unless I get the urge to change my course to Tareth, more specifically Laersi. . . .I'm rambling, yes, but that's what I do and that's what this lovely blog is for. . .

Tee hee! I go to Moab in a couple of days! *happy dance*

Oh, even more awesome summer events:
August 21- Mistborn: The Well of Ascension
September 25- Leven Thumps and the Eyes of the Want

Extra Event

Another summer event to add to the list below:

June 29: Boneville Book 6-Old Man's Cave

If you've never heard of the Boneville comic book series, I strongly recommend them. They are good. Fun for kids and adults, and it's one of those books where once you sit down and start reading, you can't put it down unless you finish the last page. And then, you scream in frustration because you want to find out what happens next.

There are 9 books in this series. They have already been written, but scholastic is going through with Jeff Smith (the author) and coloring them. For 10 bucks you get a nice, enjoyable, and colored kids book. That's probably the normal price for colored comics, but who cares! What a deal for a spankin' good book!

There's no place like home. . . .

*kicks off shoes and relaxes in the love sack*
Ahhh. . .school's over. . .no work. . .no homework. . .just me and my story to work on and a good book to read when I feel like it. . .and and Elvish Pirate Gyspy to goof off with, a Mastah Genius to obey, and a Dread Pirate to explore with. Once she feels better of course. . .

List of fun things happening this awesome summer:
May 25--Pirates of the Carribean: At World's End
May 13--Shrek 3
Sometime in June--Ratoutouille. . .Ratotoille. . .the new pixar movie
June 2-18--Trip to Memphis, TN
July 19 (or the next week)--Subway hike
July 13--Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix
July 21--Harry Potter and the Deathly Hollows
July 30--Dream Theater Concert
August 6--Rush Concert

I saw Spiderman 3 thursday night (midnight showing! Boo-yah!) and it was a good. It wasn't what I expected it to be, but it was good. Venom was awesome! He was my favorite villian in the spiderman series, and the producers did him so good! I was actually scared by him! He was scary! Definitly not to take little kids to, that's for sure!
