Once upon a time there was a hungry college student named Jekka Jones. One morning, just as the sun was coming up, she and her roommate decided to get up at 7 o'clock to go check out a local bakery that her roommate had discovered previously.
Well, after calling their other friend, Junior, and getting in his car, the threesome drove to the small bakery called Voirs. They only intended to buy a donut for themselves and two more for their other roommates, Alex and Kayleigh, but once they started selecting donuts, they couldn't stop. There was just so many and they looked so good! On top of it, the nice lady behind the counter got them a pastry to sample. It was called a buttermilk bar, and Jekka Jones absolutely loved it. In fact, they all loved it that they got five buttermilk bars, along with some other tasty pastries.
Now, they thought that the one dozen boxed donuts would be rather a lot, but the total actually came to a lovely $6.66. Jekka was really excited over the number, but Mandi flashed her student I.D. and we recieved a 10% discount. The number dropped to $5.69, which bummed Jekka, but once they had their donuts and were out the door she was much happier.
They returned to Jekka and Mandi's dorm where they ate their donuts and sipped chocolate milk until all three of them had to go to class. And they had a happy Friday for the rest of the day. The End.

Food and Rocks
Thanksgiving was awesome. Family, food, music, food, and a movie. And food! I went and saw Enchanted that night, and it was surprisingly really good! I liked it a lot. It poked fun at the fairy tales but it was done in a way so that any fairy-tale lover wouldn't be offended. And Mastah, there's one part in the movie where the girl starts singing in Central Park and everyone there joins in, and the guy she's with starts yelling "How do you know this song?! You've never heard this song before?! How can you sing it?!" I laughed so hard. And the whole singing to get the woodland creatures to help you. . .oh my gosh, it's so funny!
Well, off from that tangent, while all the aunts, moms, and non-hiking women went day-after-thanksgiving shopping, the rest of us went to Topaz mountain. Yes it was freezing, and yes I had a blast. Not to mention, I found a lot of really good topazes. Unfortunately, I did not bring my own hammer and screwdriver/chisel so I didn't get a lot of the big topazes that I saw in the rocks. I tried using the rocks around but they don't work so well. They just break instead of the rock around the topaz.
Well, that's all for my update. Now I have to go do a spot of cleaning and then maybe do some homework. I am proud of myself, wednesday I pulled out my chemistry pamphlet and did three problems (though I don't know if I did them right or not. I think I did them right, but knowing my luck I didn't).
I'll probably end up writing more of my story. I need to get on top of that. . . .
Anywho, Happy Thanksgiving and have a school-free, fun-packed weekend!!!

Much Accomplished!
I dusted my room.
That's right, I dusted it. It is now clean and smells like Pledge duster spray. . .stuff.
You can see your reflection in the wood now!
I feel so accomplished. Someone should give me a medal. . .or a book. A book would be good. . .food too. . .and dessert. . .I likes dessert.
I don't remember how long ago it was that I dusted my room. I think it was when I first moved into the basement. . .which was three years ago. Yep, my room would have made an attic proud. All it's dustiness and whatnot.
I will miss the little messages I left for myself in them *sniff* but, hey, MY ROOM'S BEEN DUSTED!!

Rescue Dawn
Suprisingly good, actually. I wanted to watch it from listening to the screener at work, and it was really good. It has the same style as Castaway, with the only sounds throughout the movie is the people talking and the insects from the jungle. Christian Bale was really cool, as always, and Steve Zahn (from That thing you do and Sahara) was great too, but he was really serious. This was a very good movie. I'd likes to watch it again. . . .It's about a pilot (Christian Bale) who gets shot down over Laos during the beginning years of the Vietnam War, and is taken to a prison camp. There, he and his fellow prisoners plan to escape from their captors rather than wait to be released.
I also watched Santa Clause 3: The Escape Clause. It was actually pretty good. I do wish there was more time on Jack-Frost-as-Santa, than Santa having family problems, but it was still good. Martin Short was awesome as usual (he's been in The Three Amigos, Pure Luck, and Innerspace), in fact, he looked like the devil turned blue. His hair was all spikey, and not the boy's hair kind of spikey, but really spikey. Other than that, the first is still the best, the second one was better than the third, but the third was still good.
Well, that's all I have to say. . .HOORAY FOR THANKSGIVING!!!
