Whirly Twirly Planets
I paid a visit (and very nerve-wrecking drive) to the clark Planetarium in SLC. It's cool, but not as cool as the Hansen Planetarium in the good ol' days. We saw a movie, Deep Sea. . .in 3D!!!! It was sweet, but I would only give it three stars because it lacked dolphins. It had a lovely right whale at the end, but no dolphins. Not to mention it said that the most graceful predator in the ocean is the manta ray. *rolls eyes* Nope. Sorry, that title would go to the dolphins. They're more graceful. Silly "scientists"! If you're going to do a documentary on the ocean, you HAVE to have dolphins!!!
See the picture on the right? Aren't they so cute! *nuzzles picture* My precioussss. . . .my preciousssssessssss. . . .
As for the planets. Tiny to big balls hanging from the ceiling. Pretty cool stuff. . .but then there were the shiney meteors!! *devilish gleam* They were very shiney and looked very heavy and fell from the sky and were very shiney and were all weird and deformed and were very shiney. . . .and were very very VERY shiney!
